News Update :

Apple Is The Latest Company To Be Targeted By AntiSec

It seems in a Twitter post by Anonymous, they have claimed to have breached one of Apple's servers and have managed to gain access to private data, which they have posted on the web, and which they claim contains several administrative usernames and passwords. However according to their tweet, it looks like Apple was not their focus, although they could be if they chose to, as they claim to be “busy elsewhere”.

There has been no word from Apple regarding this matter and we're not sure what or where exactly those usernames and passwords will take you to. If you were hoping for iPhone 4S/5 and iPad 3 leaks and images, you could be disappointed as it looks like everything is still pretty quiet on that end. However, vigilance is the key to staying protected, so changing passwords from time to time is always encouraged. If you feel that you may have been compromised by the recent waves of attack from Anonymous and LulzSec in their joint operation AntiSec, Gizmodo has a handy personal data-checker you can use to see if your username or password has been compromised.
