iPad HD whispers fuel iPad 2 Plus rumors

It was just yesterday that we first came across rumors of the iPad 2 Plus, where the main difference between that model and the current iPad 2 would be an increase in screen resolution. Well, fast forward 24 hours and you have another report making its way around the Internet, touting that Apple is now working on a device known as the “iPad HD” – and even more shocking would be to have the tablet arrive simultaneously with the next generation iPhone later this fall. If this rumor is true, it is going to be a long, long summer indeed.

It must be stressed that even though this is a rumor, you can be sure the world will make a meal about it since Apple is involved. The new tablet will not be an iPad 2, but rather, is somewhat like what the MacBook Pro is to the MacBook, offering a more professional stance. It seems that the iPad HD will launch alongside a type of professional video/photo editing software that has been specially configured for tablet use.

iPad HD, hmmm? Does this mean we will soon fork out more money for HD versions of games that we have already purchased?
