Memorial Day has passed this year, but it's never too late to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for our country. The
Arlington National Cemetery app for
iPad guides you on several one-mile tours of the cemetery and helps you discover the stories behind the grave markers. Each stop on the tours has high-resolution photos, with GPS designations. You can also compare photos taken between 1890-1945 to a photo taken at the same spot and angle taken in June 2010. The app will be updated every other month to include nominations from family members and friends. The app is $6.99 in the iTunes app store.
